GreenStage’s summer theatre camps are perfectly geared toward kids ages 5-18. Whether you are looking for camps for very young kids (ages 5-7), or theatrically experienced teens, we have Shakespeare camps to fit all age groups. Our camps take students on a personal journey through the world of Shakespeare. Their natural imaginations will be embraced and nurtured as their ability to focus and work as a team increases. Each week-long camp ends with a free performance (picnic recommended) in the parks for family and friends.

This summer we are offering Pee Wee camps for ages 5-7 years, that introduce kids to basic theatrical storytelling. For beginning actors, ages 8-15, our youth camps will explore and perform The Comedy of Errors, one of Shakespeare’s most loved comedies. Our full day Youth camp for ages 8115 will work on the classic Julius Caesar. For kids with previous acting experience, we offer our Youth Intensive camp. A full day camp focusing on more advanced acting training.

And don’t miss our Apprentice program specifically for high school juniors and seniors interested in theatre and Shakespeare. Apprentices join our mainstage summer touring company and learn about all aspects of the production of professional theater. Apprentices are chosen through an interview/audition process with the Education Director.
